POSTPONED – Scholastic Book Fair

Due to the school shut down, we have currently postponed the scholastic book fair. We will try to reschedule later in the year if possible, but if not, please see us next school year. Join us for our Scholastic book fair from March 23 – March 26! Students will be visiting the book fair with their classes, so be on the look out for the day and times they will be attending the book fair.

Shoe Drive

The PFC is partnering with to collect new, used, and gently worn shoes.  We will be accepting all shoe types from dance shoes and cleats, to boots and bedroom slippers.  As long as there are no holes, tears or single shoes (must be a matched pair) we will take it! No skates or blades.  All shoes collected will be refurbished and donated to third world countries. Our goal is to collect 2,500 pairs of

Walking Train

Dublin El will be hosting our very first walking train.  Instead of dropping your student off at school, drop them off at Shannon Park where we will have parent chaperones to walk groups of students to school every 5 minutes beginning at 8:10AM through 8:25AM.  We are hoping to eliminate the congestion to the school as well as promote a healthy way to get to school. Bike Mobile

The BikeMobile (BMB) is a mobile bicycle repair clinic that offers free bike repair services, and bike mechanics & safety education.  They will be on campus on Thursday, March 5th from 3-6 PM fixing flat tires, adjusting brakes and gears, and replacing old chains, seats, and tires. Space is limited, so get there early. It will be a first come, first serve. Priority will go to student bikes. Please email if you have any

Golden Sneaker Challenge

The Golden Sneaker Challenge is a two-week classroom competition from February 24 – March 6 encouraging students, parents, teachers and administrators to take the healthy route to school by choosing active or shared transportation. Students will be tracking daily in their classrooms how they traveled to school. At the end of the two weeks, the class with the highest percentage of class participation will receive the Golden Sneaker Award — a trophy made from shoes
